A sleep and a stroll

Another walk along the Ätran with Sofia at week 30. As you can see she is very happy. Lola takes her usual pose while asleep.

Spa at Strandbaden

Sofia and I spent a great 24 hours at Strandbaden hotel. We got a great deal which included a 3 course meal, a nights accomodation, breakfast and then 4 hours in the spa. It was great. So relaxing. We were joined by our friends Malin & Petter and Denis &Josefine. We all loved it and it was definitely money well spent. Felt so relaxed when we left. Lola spent her time with Mormor and Morfar wile we were away. Below is the view from our room. Sea view!

Fika on the beach

Had a very lovely fika on Skrea Strand over the weekend. Very cold but it was dry and sunny outside. Nice to sit down and watch the world go by. Lola loved exploring and found lots of shells on the beach. Sofia is blooming well and is now in week 27.

 

 

 

The bed-time gang

Lola has many lovely toys and cuddly creatures to keep her company when she goes to bed. Her 3 favourites which form the core part of her bed-time routine are Pingu, Bunny and Mango.

Our pre Xmas Xmas with Grandma and Granddad

Grandma and Granddad came to visit us all in early December. This cooincided with the coldest spell in Sweden all year (e.g. -20C during the evenings - Brrrrr!). While they were here we:

• Went to see David singing some fine festive songs at the local church with his choir
• Had a traditional English roast with the family (13 of us in total!)
• Went to the Chistmas market in Liseberg
• Did a spot of tabbogonning
• Had our Danish Xmas gift giving
• Watched Lola open lot's of Xmas pressies

It was a fun packed week and really good to see the old folks embrace the harshness of a Swedish winter.

Weekend in Stockholm

Sofia and I had a weekend away in Stockholm to attend the wedding of the lovely Miranda and Henrik. It was a great wedding which resulted in me getting home at 5.30 in the morning after some crazy pool table antics.

We're at the halfway stage now and Sofia is looking great.
